My Practice Academy strives to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. These guidelines, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our website and services to identify and address barriers to accessibility, and we are committed to continuous improvement.

2. What We Do

We have taken the following steps to ensure our platform is accessible:

Semantic HTML Structure

Our pages use proper HTML elements (headings, lists, landmarks, labels) so that assistive technologies such as screen readers can accurately interpret and navigate the content.

Alternative Text

Images on our website include descriptive alternative text (alt attributes) that convey the meaning and purpose of each image to users who cannot see them.

Keyboard Navigation

Color Contrast

Readable Font Sizes

Body text on our website is set at a minimum of 16 pixels, and all text can be resized using browser zoom functionality up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Responsive Design

Our website is fully responsive and functions across all device types and screen sizes, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Content reflows appropriately at different viewport widths.

Video Captions

We provide captions for video content when available. We are actively working to ensure all course videos include accurate closed captions.

3. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some areas of our platform may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Known limitations include:

• Older course videos: Some earlier course videos may not yet have closed captions. We are in the process of adding captions to all video content and prioritize new content for captioning first.

• Third-party embedded content: Some tools and services embedded in our platform (such as payment forms, chat widgets, and video players) are provided by third parties and may not fully comply with all accessibility standards. We work with vendors who prioritize accessibility and advocate for improvements.

• PDF documents: Some downloadable PDF templates and resources may not be fully optimized for screen readers. We are working to provide accessible alternatives for all downloadable materials.

4. Accommodations

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need an accommodation to access any part of our website, courses, or services, please contact us. We are committed to working with you to find a solution.
